 Review:
The Observer
British tradition, sometimes known as folk music,
continues to uphold its role in the global mix. Welsh
trio Uiscedwr are the latest recruits to a groundswell
of young folkies. Fronted by the dashing violin of
Anna Esslemont, a classical drop-out, they have an
accomplished debut in Everywhere (Yukka), which majors
in instrumentals, but with songs as good as 'Mr and
Mrs' there is surely more diverse fayre to come.
